広告活動やマーケティングを広告代理店へ依頼している会社がほとんどだと思います。全てを1社に任せたり、媒体によって使い分けたりと会社にとって様々です。もちろん会社によって様々な理由を元に代理店を決めていることでしょう。しかし、本当に今の会社でいいのでしょうか？

私自身、クライアントとの商談で、「○○はジャリアさん、□□はA社に任せているから大丈夫」と言われることがあります。弊社は他社で実施している広告でも無料診断している為、参考としてデータを頂くことがあるのですが、効果が弱く成果に繋がらない運用をしているケースも見受けられます。

では、どういった基準で代理店を選べば良いか見ていきましょう。

 

## 業界の知識

まずは、自社の業界に強い代理店かです。業界や業種によって適した広告方法がある為、自社の業界に詳しい代理店だとより良い方法を提案してもらえる可能性が高まります。

業界の知識量に応じてマーケティングや施策内容が変わってしまいます。Web関係の広告を実施したいので、Web媒体を専門に取り扱っている会社に任せれば大丈夫！と言えない場合もあるので注意しましょう。

 

## 媒体の知識・実績

次に、実施する広告方法に関する知識や実績です。Web媒体一つをとっても、コーポレートサイト、ECサイト、LP、SNS、リスティング等のWeb広告など様々です。

従って、自社がどんな施策に取組みたいか明確にすることが必要です。具体的にイメージできない場合でも様々な角度からアドバイスしてくれる代理店であれば、自社の潜在的な課題も見えてきて、より効果的な広告活動に繋がるでしょう。最後に代理店の実績を確認しておくことも忘れないようにしましょう。

 

## 改善案の幅広さ

近年、スマートフォンが普及したり、DX化が加速したりと、世の中は目まぐるしいスピードで変化していますが、広告業界も同じように変化が早い業界です。従って、社会状況の変化に伴いCVを取れていた広告の効果が落ちたり、広告業界の変化とともに通用しなくなったりする場合もあります。（2023年には3rd Party Cookieの廃止など）

そういった際に、内容を改善するだけではなく、別のプランを提示してくれる会社であればスムーズに次のフェーズに移れます。また、改めて会社選定を行う必要がない為、時間コストの削減にも繋がります。

広告代理店を選ぶ基準は会社ごとに異なりますが、この記事が少しでも参考になれば幸いです。ここまでポイントを紹介しましたが、最も大切なことは「代理店に丸投げしない」ことです。用語や運用の仕方などを代理店に教えてもらったり、自身で学んだりすることで広告効果について理解できるでしょう。
